Back translation improves the reliability and supports the validity of research by requiring that the quality of a translation job is verified by using an independent translator who translates the work back into the original (source) language. Original and back-translated documents are then compared and statistically analyzed for states of similarity and quality control.

AFC has experience with Back translation for those very high risk - high return scenarios. Back Translation is not for everyone - typical clients for this service include pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment operators, lawyers and the courts where nearly “verbatim” translation is important.
