A: Yes, we have one full-time editor and one part-time editor

Q: Do you proofread your translations as well, on top of the editing?
A: Every Anglo-Franco project that goes out to the clients will undergo a minimum of 3 separate independent and rigorous reviews before it is delivered. It will pass through all hands. The translators who work on the project do not proofread their own work.

Q: Is Anglo-Franco Communications Ltd. publicly or privately owned?
A: We are a privately owned company. The President of the firm began her career in the insurance and financial industry working on projects with various technical writing departments. She soon found herself leading a team for the translation of legal documents, manuals and marketing collateral. Translating directly in the source code of languages such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, HTML, Java, and ASP was inevitable and localization became a passion.

Q: Flexibility - Are the turnaround times mentioned on your website always applicable?
A: Before we agree to take on a project, we establish a time frame and communicate it to the client for signature acceptance. Our deadlines are ALWAYS respected. In fact we have a reputation of delivering the finished product well in advance of our deadlines - hence the high rate of repeat clients. Like you, turnaround times are extremely important to us. In 10+ years, we have never yet missed a deadline!
